I had a lady show up that was loving but kind of dark in nature. I am a blue spirit so everything I see, like purple, is darker. I don't wish to change your belief system so I won't go any farther. It's good that you are a happy individual. I have had visits before, I believe, Archangel Michael (golden hair, yellow, and blue), Chris, and a couple of other special angels. I have one particular that I love so much I won't say his name. These spirits actually give you some of their energy for a brief time. The "ghost" spirits/people are the ones who use your energy. But because of my "tormentors" in the past my empathic abilities have dwindled and I can no longer see the future and what I read of people. In fact when I tell someone about what I felt I am 98% wrong. All the time. While spirits would come to me and ask for help. I have sent them up to heaven, ran through hospitals to help heal people and talk to disembodied spirits, and learned about my past lives. I know this sounds weird but I only have one that I am slightly shameful for and that was when I was a Roman centurion. And he/I was very happy at the time. I did not get that lustful and vengeance feeling from him. He fought for the cause. I have been an apologizer for the Catholic church in the 15th century for instance. I believe that I have also been a guard and basic teacher for an enlightened human. He was very famous. I won't tell you who he was but you will have to guess. ;)

Hi Jeanette,
Yes! When we sleep, in dream state it is easier for spirits to come by and say hi or give a message.I think our channel is even more open as our conscious mind rests. I get visits all the time! For me they usually come through some kind of door, visit for a while and them depart back out the same door. They do use our energy to manifest. When it becomes depleted they usually say something like, "I have to leave now" and they exit suddenly. A lot of times they just stop by to say hi, or they may have a specific message. They can never harm you or overtake you. Your guides protect you at all times, so there should be no fear at all here. I welcome visits from my loved ones and spirit guides during my sleeping hours.

Hi Jeanette, you are so correct when you say being an empath has two sides to it. Sometimes the burden of carrying others emotions can be to much to bare. I had the same problem. Crowds were really rough! Then I realized, that I did not have to carry what I did not own. I ask everyday to release what is not mine and my guides help me to do just that. You can do it too. Just ask and you will get the help you need. Suddenly you will begin to process these emotions in a way which helps others and your spirit will soar!
Oh yes, those are my dogs! They love to play rough and wrestle all the time. All three dogs are rescue dogs. What great additions they make to our family! Thanks for mentioning them! Have a blessed day, so glad your here with us!
