"The Beauty of You "

My Dear Friend,

Tomorrow, when you wake up and get ready for the day,
Take a moment to look at yourself in the mirror.
Not a glance, talk a look… a good long look.
Accept everything you see,
For the Miracle that it is.
Realize that your body has been gifted to your Soul by God as a vessel.
It is exactly the way it needs to be, for your Soul to experience life as IT needs to.
Do not look upon your body with disdain, remorse, or regret.
Admire every wrinkle, every pound, every color, and every perceived shortcoming.
Look upon yourself with complete Love and appreciation,
To offer anything less would be suggesting that
what God has gifted to you is imperfect.
And I am not sure any of us are ready to make that claim.
