Tarot-A-Day: Tuesday July 7, 2007: Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon in Capricorn

Today we have a lunar eclipse and a full moon in Capricorn. Carpricorn is a very practical sign and deals with grounded things in the world, so I'm surprised I didn't pull a pentacles card today. But when looking at the Two of Swords, what we're being told is that while we do our energy work today during the eclipse and the full moon, we may actually feel stuck or unable to decide. We can manifest during the full moon, but practical Capricorn is asking us to focus and to sacrifice certain things so that we can manifest others. This is causing us to make some decisions today which may not be easy and we may feel stalled in our ability to do so. The lesson for us today is to feel whatever indecision comes up and then break through it. This is the day for opening our hearts and our eyes, neither of which the woman of the Two of Swords is doing. Experience, and move past it into choices and into manifesting. Capricorn wants us to let go of anything that is worn out, broken down and void of energy in our lives, whether it's a situation, a person or that favorite old pair of jeans we keep waiting to fit into. This is an ending coupled with a beginning, so take full advantage of it today and don't get locked at cross-purposes through your own making.
