So… What’s in Your Spiritual Tool Belt?
I have to admit, a few years back, as I began hunkering into my own ‘Journey of Self’,
I was more than a little uneasy with the idea of speaking to psychics, mediums, or ‘soul coachers’. In fact, the thought of using any of the tools available for spiritual guidance, including ‘oracle decks’ was simply ridiculous - as I believed I did not need these things to assist in my own Spiritual growth (or so my ego thought).
It wasn’t until I had been ‘traveling’ for a while and during one my daily meditations that I presented my uneasiness to use these resources in the form of a question to Spirit:
“Why should I bother using things, such as oracle cards, psychic readings, for my own spiritual growth?”
The response that came was crystal clear and in the form of a parable:
~As it was shared with me~
“A farmer who throws his seeds unto the earth will surly grow some grain.
But the farmer who uses tools to bury his seeds, nurture the seedlings and care for the crop, will truly reap a bountiful harvest. One to share with many others”
To me, the meaning was perfectly clear; while everything before us in this existence has been provided as a means to promote Spiritually growth, we have additional tools available in the form of psychics, mediums, divinity/oracle cards and such that are here to assist us in receiving guidance along the way. Much like your GPS helps map out a route to your destination, these resources will help increase your own awareness of the road ahead and further pinpoint what direction on the path to take.
Since that revelation was offered, I have reached out to many psychics, mediums, and spiritual coaches for their guidance through any number of life events, I even own a fair collection of oracle cards that I reference on a daily basis. No, these resources don’t dictate to me how to lead my life story – but they do offer an unbiased opinion of what I should look for while I walk along.
Can you manage through your life without this guidance, you bet. But if utilizing all the available resources will result in deeper insights to your experiences here, why not avail yourself to them?
I can honestly say, that the journey I began on my own a few years back…
While it still remains a journey of self…
I am no longer alone.
As I am accompanied by many new Soul friends,
Who... like me... began their own journey by seeking truth
And have found Love along the way…
