As of today we have lost our childhood icons. I grew up in high school trying to cut my hair and styling my hair like farrah, as all young girls did in my high school. She represented what all girls wished to be like in the 70's. As for Micheal, when I was young I would listen to all his and brothers latest hits. The news media has called these two stars "individuals that had the pressence to influence the world " and how people identified with . With Farrah, I see a beautiful soul going through cancer ,as her souls growth. Recently she shared in her documentry , her struggles and pain and the will to live, she aired on tv. What a gift to share with other cancer patients to give them the strength to heal spiritualiy and to make peace with whatever the outcome will be . With Michiel , I see a talented individual that when on stage, magic happened! . for 30 years he transformed the music media. He was known worldwide. As time went on , America would see a different side of Michiel. He would struggle with who he was internally . The odd bevavoir he presented to the world and altering his apperance to become better , feeling that his essence was flawed. how sad that he did not discover in this lifetime his souls true beauty .He truely was a gift that we were able to experience .They will both be missed.
