Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Eddie Brigate

If you caught the show tonight, my mother Marilyn was my special guest. She is an amazing psychic and medium. She told us some of her story and promised to be back to tell us more. Later in the segment she brought on her lifelong friend Eddie Brigati of the Young Rascals. Eddie was kind enough to debut his newest song on Soul's Journey Radio called "Angels" from his new album "Keeper of the Flame" He also announced to us and the world that he (along with his partner Felix Cavaliere) are being… Continue

Being Human

Lately I have been feeling edgy and out of sorts. I realize that I am going through a growth period within myself and my spirituality. Even with that realization that does not make me any less edgy or make the process any easier! I have found myself wanting to lash out and as a very typical human being it seems I want to lash out at those I love the most. I think there is a saying that you always hurt the ones you love the most! Keeping that in mind I have refrained from doing just that. Trust… Continue

Being True to Myself

For the last week or so I have been on a mission a hunt for the perfect dress for myself. I am the mother of the bride, being the silly person that I am it never crossed my mind that I was so important. I have been informed by my daughter that indeed I am important and special. I did have a dress but she was not happy it with, for a very good reason, it was too wintery and she is getting married this year on the 4th of July. So over the past week I have tried on at least 60 dresses in two… Continue

Not everyone's cup of tea.

As I have traveled through life I have come to the conclusion that not everyone is everyone's cup of tea so to speak. As a massage therapist I cannot be the perfect therapist for each and every person that comes across my table. At first I was a bit upset at that idea but I have come to understand that you cannot have what everyone needs and you need to be good at exactly what it is you are good at. I know alot of round about talk but what I am getting at is there is no need to be upset if you… Continue

Ripple of Random Kindness

I have always thought random acts of kindness was an awesome thing to do for someone. I think that with the world as it is today it is even more important! A random act of kindness does not have to be something you pay for it can be a kind word or a hug for a friend that needs one or smiling at someone that looks like they are having a bad day.

I know when I smile at someone and they smile back and I see a sense of happiness on their face it makes me feel good. Not only does it make me… Continue

Finding someone special

It seems everyone is hunting for that someone special.. but the reality is would we know them if they tweeked us on the nose. I have to guess that alot of times the answer would be a resounding NO. So that leads us to the question of how do we know if we find that someone special. It takes some work just like anything else, we have to know exactly what we want and what we cannot compromise on when we are looking for that special someone.

To start out you need to have a list of exactly what… Continue
