Questions about Goddesses

The Goddesses are one of our many connections to the Creative Energy of the Universe and are one of our biggest allies on our Quest for a Higher Plane existence. Their energy can be found within us, whether it's that rude awakening from Goddess Kali that you feel when you exit a job you had outgrown energetically or that whisper within you that says, "Listen. This is the time to receive information, not get defensive," from the compassionate Goddess/Bodhisattva Kwan Yin. Feeling a surge of justice and wanting to be fair from Goddess Maat or relish in reckless passion like Goddess Freja.

recently i had not been honoring my inner goddess, but i can feel Kali stripping my layers, all of them, and Aphrodite teaching me to love myself fully, and Brigid helping me to honor my strength, Ishtar to help me say yes to what feels good and lovingly decline what feels not for my highest good... but most of all right now, i am feeling Kuan Yin (she reminds me i am a rose) and Mother Mary (she is giving me a big, green healing hug) helping me heal my heart and all "struggles"... that i can release... Lakshmi just assisted me in getting full financial aid for college for the second year in a row (OM Shreem Kleem Maha Lakshmiyei Namaha!) ... i was in the lower vibrations earlier today but giving in, in a powerful way, like a GODDESS, has been helpful to release all the resistance that i know comes with change. Aphrodite shows up for me as foam, Lakshmi as a smiling goddess wrapping her arms around me, and they all remind me that I AM one of Them. just today i saw butterflies in a mandala and was thankful for Butterfly Woman and all of the transitions in my life. Lady Nada is bringing me balance and ever-present faith and trust in the power of the Universe. the Goddesses make me think of water, but they also make me think of fiery passion and clear crystals.

these times, i can feel so fragile, vulnerable, moody, restless... the Goddesses and my Inner Goddess keep me still in the waters of peace. mostly i feel them helping me honor my Sacred Space within myself, when i am "aware" "enough" to feel it which is always, and to bring this awareness out to others and not just in meditation.

i was afraid to let them in and to let my strong and peaceful inner Goddess out but i think, now it is time. it is always time to honor my Inner Goddess.

Hi Eva,
Thanks so much for starting the discussion on Goddesses! I absolutely connect with your feeling that Goddesses can keep us stay in "peace" but sometimes before the peace, they can jumpstart us with some fiery, no-nonsense energy! (Pele and of course, Kali come to mind) so we can grow even higher than we ever imagined. I have a wall hanging of Lakshmi in my living room and like you, yes she has helped me manifest funds when I thought I was the one in control lol. Honor your Inner Goddess and she will honor you back tenfold.
